you have this c amera facing the front – that wont help if they come around back buddy ! so your gonna need a few more..

I mainly got it so I could see when people arrive at my house to drop off computers for repairs. The security part of it is just an added benefit.
Thanks for the review. I’ve been thinking about one of these to protect my motorcycle. Have you looked into the lack of nightvision, and the addon pack to enable it?
As a side note, you need to mount your camera on the 2nd floor. As you demonstrated, you can come up to the camera from the side, and out of shot. Once thats done, blip, unplug it! Id recommend the corner of your upper floor looking back down over the face of your house so it covers the whole front of your property.

It has exceptional low light, but no night vision. They sell an addon I think which will give you night vision.

screwdriver will do that in a jiffy oh and then the plug is on the outside of the garage haha so all they do is walk behind the camera right next to your doors unscrew the camera and unplug it. free camera.
since you didnt have to detect your cam and theres no other security in connecting it, what are the chances that your next door might have a connection to your cam or vice versa?
One you connect to it for the very first time it walks you through password protecting it. It then sends the password to the outdoor camera, so nobody else can connect to it.

The only time it happened to mine was on a really cold night. Like -20F cold. I brought it in and let it warm up, then it worked again.

I see that you have posted this review last June.
I’ve seen mixed reviews of the outdoor camera failing within a year or so.
How has your camera been doing?
Still going strong. But it will be one year this june so we still have a few months.
