I like the video camera surveillance idea. Right now, the hardest crime to prove is the illegal entry (which is a federal felony if proven). Illegal presence isn’t currently considered proof of illegal entry. With video surveillance, the crime will be documented and deportations will be much easier and faster. I think we’ll even see prison time for more illegals who are currently only getting charged with illegal presence.

Appeasement for the masses? Why do they constantly underestimate our outrage? When will they understand we cannot afford the criminal hordes?
If Lori K is correct, it opens new doors. Penal farms are frowned on by some, but basically it would enable the prisoners to work off the cost of the time in prison. Putting those folks in jail in massive numbers would harm their private lives, but far to frequently, the illegal aliens are single and simply putting them in jail has the effect of providing them with excellent places to live for a while.
We need the element of the illegal aliens earning their keep, or we need the element of very frugal processes for the inmates.
It’s not enough. There needs to be an actual physical wall across the entire southern US border. This coupled with the additional technological security, is the only way we are going to effectively keep out ILLEGAL immigrants and stop them from ruining our country further. If it’s not done this country will be ravaged to the extent of no return (if it hasn’t been already).
